holiday movie marathon

I had a wonderful Christmas. I spent my day with some of the most amazing people on this planet along with the most decadent christmas brunch ever! To recover from all the festivities, I kicked myself in a movie marathon!

Black Swan is probably one of the most interesting and captivating psychological thriller that I've seen. I adore Natalie Portman's role in this film, terrific work! She's one of the actresses that I can just cannot wait to see what she'll do next. She's a pleasure to watch. The storyline is quite thrilling. Def. one of the must see film of the year!
The Fighter was terrific. At first I was real hesistant about going to see this film, it seemsed like a snooze fest. Plus the last time I saw Mark Wahlberg was in Planet of the Apes when his ass was making out with an ape-lady! Fortunately, I was terribly wrong. It was such a terrific film and very inspirational too. I'm so glad my bf dragged me out on Christmas night to see this movie :)
The Tourist was sooo much to watch! The storyline won't leave you with some profound inspirational message like the first 2 films but it's fun! I fell in love with Depp's charm all over again in this film. The ending is quite a shocker, you'll never see it coming. Well, at least.. I didn't.

Today, I spent all day in my pjs watching movies through On Demand with my mom & baby sister. We snacked on all kinds of yummy food and even cracked out a couple bottles of bubby too. Oh yeahhh!
Wall Street is a real treat to watch. It was so enlightening to see a young actor like Shia to take on roles in films like this and for that, kudos to him! Great little twist in the plot that nearly made want to jump off the bed & hit somebody. I can't tell you what happened, you'll just have to see it for yourself. Promise me you'll see it, it will help you gain some insight into the complexities of the money market in this country.
The Town was just a so-so film for me. I watched the whole thing because well I already paid for it so I might as well stick it out. The storyline was pretty dumb. The story follows these robbers in this small town and their pathetic lives. Blake Lively played the white trash girl well, it's a nice change to see her doing something other than 'just standing there & flaunt her pretty hair.' Once again, Ben Affleck failed to amused me. The only time I actually cared about what he was to was when he was still dating J-lo. He need to fall off the face of the Earth asap!
Vampires Suck is hilarious and a fun film to watch. I saw it twice, lol. They're coming out with a sequel and I cannot wait to see that either :)

Whew! It didn't seem like a lot but I guess I did see quite a lot of films in the past few days huh? What do you guys normally spending your Christmas weekend doing? Shop? Watch movies? Parties?

The Fighter was amazing, I saw it the day after Christmas with a few friends and we all thought it was amazing.

Black Swan didn't sweep me off of my feet, but it was alright. I thought The Town was pretty badass though! Right now I'm in the middle of watching Easy A.
